Since January 1988, Fair Oaks Ranch has been an incorporated city, developed on land owned by Ralph Fair, Sr. that once featured a working ranch with a dairy and granary, as well as a center for racehorses. After Mr. and Mrs. Fair passed away, their family began developing part of the property as a residential community in 1975. Three years later, the Fairs’ 14,000 sq. ft. residence was renovated for the country club and to this day is an important social activity center for Fair Oaks Ranch, which now has a population of just under 6,000 residents.
